What can i do on dSpin?

HERE’S A SHORT SUMMARY OF HOW THE SITE WORKS.

DSPIN is designed as a virtual community with several buildings:

Community Plaza
Education Hall
Marketplace
Exhibit Hall
Wellness Center
Government Center
Information Center (this center is like a great big library or storage facility for everything on the site)

If what you want to post, or what you are interested in, seems like it would be in one of these buildings, click on the building you have in mind. There’s no “wrong” building. We think that what is posted will sort itself out over time. If that doesn’t happen, we will make some changes in the site, and you can change the site too.

When you click on a building, you will see one or more of the following “prompts”:

Speak Out!
Post, Read, or Edit a Document
Post, Read, or Edit News
Post, Read About, or Edit Events
Post, Read, or Answer Classifieds
Post, Look At, or Edit an Exhibit]

Pick a category, click on it, and see if it looks like the right place for what you have in mind. If it is, post, read, edit, answer, look at, or try something else that seems like fun.

There’s another thing you can do on DSPIN. You can help rate the accessibility of your community.

Most importantly, tell us what you think! What’s easy to do? What’s hard to do? What’s missing? What’s boring? What do you like and dislike about the site? We need your feedback to make the site better.
