Help For Removing Items

I have added an item to the website, and then realized that it was already there or not needed.  I want to remove that picture I posted.  How do I get rid of news, events, pages, or anything from the website?

1.  Click on your "My Homepage" link in the upper left of the screen.
2.  Click on the "Contents" tab in the top center section of the page.
3.  Click on the empty box next to the item in the list you wish to delete
4.  Hit the "delete" box in the bottom center section of the page.

*Be VERY careful about what you delete.  Once you delete something, it is gone.  If you put a lot of work into something, you might have to do it all over again.  If you are unsure of what the item is, you can click on the name of the item which appears in blue text under the "title" column and look at the item to make sure it is the correct one.
