The site needs ONE place to post. Let's change SPEAK OUT to POST A MESSAGE and invite the poster to choose topics and places to store it - e.g. education Columbia.
We also could store duplicate copies of every message in one chrono file available to users and maybe automatically send copies of messages to topics and places based on key words.

And it still annoys me that there isn't a "send" button. "Save" makes no sense.

I had mentioned having a board area a few months ago, but it was decided in the meeting not to change it. As it is now, the "silos" (education, health, etc) discussion areas would be for statewide issues relating to those fields, where as the community board is more of a gathering place for people to talk about "off-topic" stuff.

If a user wants to find any discussions based upon a key word or two, they can just type those words into the search feature and it will pull up every single page (including discussion posts) that have those words in them. They can then look at the list of results and pick the ones they think are applicable.

The "save" title for the button is ingrained in the plone setup and I have yet to be able to figure out how to change it. I can change the overlaying part of it but it still says save underneath. I will admit that it hasnt been high on my list of priorities though and Ill take another gander at the options.

:)

oh, and Columbia still > all!
